AC Programs

The man projects developed by AC-Colombia are developed in the lines of:

Governmental institutional redesign: This program aims to influence state institutions by designing processes and procedures agreed upon between the institutions and civil society organizations to ensure effective participation and dialogue between citizens and government entities..

Transparency and citizen control of public management: This program is aimed at strengthening citizen participation in monitoring the management and investment of public resources through training in the use of mechanisms and practical tools for monitoring the public administration.

Public deliberation for citizen participation:This program seeks to provide input to sectoral public policy analysis and construction from the development of deliberative local, regional and national processes.

Support for social networks and vulnerable population:This program is aimed at strengthening technical and programmatic of social and community organizations, and providing tools for developing self-management of communities, particularly vulnerable people displaced by internal conflict.

Exchange of national and international experiences:This program facilitates the exchange of experiences between leaders, businesspeople, officials, citizens and members of social organizations on issues directly related to democratic governance, institution and community in order to provide information about the progress, lessons and challenges of Colombian institutional development.
