Social Objective

The social objective of Corporación Acción Ciudadana Colombia, AC-Colombia is to promote and consolidate democracy through the development of institutional design and redesign in order to guarantee effective citizen participation and incidence in decisions, management and control of State entities. Also, to strengthen citizens abilities and competences in the exercise of human rights.

In the same manner, AC Colombia advices, executes and supports institutional modernization and governance processes to contribute to the improvement of assignation, execution and control of State resources and assets.

It develops process for the analysis of political, economic and social thinking from the guidelines of science and technology for the theoretical and practical construction of models of thoughts.

AC Colombia promotes the technical and programmatic strengthening of social and communitarian organizations by fostering articulated and associated community work in favor of the generation of income, creating and consolidating small enterprises for the improvement of the quality of life in the framework of sustainable development and care for the environment.

It facilitate the interchange of experiences among leaders, business people, official, citizens and members of social organizations, in issues regarding democratic governance, institutional and community development to give feedback on the development of democracy.

Corporación Acción Ciudadana Colombia, AC-Colombia develops its programs at a local, national and international level.
